DNR's entry, Building Customer Relationships into Sales and Service Results, focused on the success of DNR's online store, its promotion and support. Since its debut in May 2004 -- with a $500 startup investment -- the store has served 4,000 customers and generated over $134,000 in revenue.
The Center called DNR's site "information-rich," and applauded the agency's commitment to providing superior online customer service. This is the DNR website's first national award.

I have been looking for a good shopping cart for a reasonable price for
about two months when I stumbled into the Easycart site. I read what
they had to offer and was very skeptical... I have been through too
many sites that promised all kinds of things, but delivered almost
nothing, and did not think Easycart will be different.
I WAS WRONG!
From the second I got my
"test" cart, I knew I found what I was looking for. The Easycart is
just that! EASY! and it delivers more than any other shopping carts I
found (36 in total if you are wondering), at this price
range. The fact that I could make the cart looks the same as my other
pages is awonderful thing. No one can believe it is a "package" they
are sure I wrote it myself :) .
And another extremely
important point. The stuff! Mike, Dan and Mary... I take my hat off,
for you.
I have asked many many many questions, and was always treated with
patient and respect. This is PRICELESS!

Just when I thought your program was perfect you go and improve it even more. your key word section and counter is an excellent way for people to manage what the customer is really looking for on your store. On thatspecialfavor.com I was able to add key words to her store from your key word section enabling a major increase in search success to her store and also what specific products need to be added to the store.

The Easy Cart people are great to work with and it is very easy to make changes to, even if you are not a web master. It easily runs Authorize.net real time credit card approval too. You asked me what I thought about Easy Cart. Here it is. As a 30 year
veteran of the "brick and motar" business world who operates "my
business-my way" successfully I might add, I wanted "my shopping cart-
my way" after all it's my business.
All other shopping cart services won't give you what you want you have to take what they want. It was explained to me that it is all programmed that way and can't be changed....NOT TRUE !
Michael Wright had good
suggestions and designed special ordering needs and made critical
changes in my thoughts about on line ordering. I think "BC"(bad cart)is
what gives potential online customers the jitters about ordering on
line.
Easy Cart has "GC"(good cart), it's like a virtual checkout person.

7/27/00 - Being a do-it-yourself kind of guy, I wanted a
package that would allow me to piece together my website / catalog as
well as allow me to easily maintain it (i.e. make changes or additions
quickly) without relying on a webmaster to get around to it when they
could...plus maintaining it myself frees me from the expense of paying
a webdesigner/webmaster to do that. With EasyCart, I was able to do it
myself, I am very pleased with my end product...I have received a good
response from those who saw my website before I changed over.....and
best of all, my customers can now order directly online instead of
calling on the phone.
Since my website was already being hosted on a different server than
EasyCart, I was concerned with a slow response jumping from site back
to the other....but I was most pleased with the end result...my main
website info is separate from my catalog, which is on the EasyCart
server, though I don't think hardly anyone will notice that they are
actually bouncing back and forth between the two.
Also, the behind-the-scenes features in EasyCart are icing on the
cake...I am looking forward to using the built-in e-mail features using
my customer base to help promote my business...and the category
hit-counters and word search features should help me to make better
educated decisions about my business in the future....

7/20/00 - I am purchasing another EasyCart. This is my second and I expect to get 2 more within the next month. I have done quite a bit of research on shopping carts and there are some with more functionality than EasyCart but I have been so pleased with your service and responses that I really do not want to risk going somewhere else.

4/11/00 - Having an existing website, I wanted to add a shopping cart feature. Something that my customers would feel safe using when it came to submitting credit card information. Unsure of how to do so, I accessed a search engine and came across a number of options. After sampling a few products, I discovered that a degree in web design was a prerequisite to using what they offered. That was until I stumbled across EASYCART. The name was encouraging enough. I'd have to say I didn't accept their trial period because I found it wasn't necessary. I was completely satisfied from the get go and my shopping cart was up and running with my full product line within two days! Not only was I sold on the product itself, but the tech support was a dream. Easily accessible, Michael (wonder-tech) was always there whenever I had a question (and still is!!!). - My first try at
building a web site involved using the Publisher 98 html editor. This
resulted in a "good looking" site that was extremely difficult to use.
(...not exactly what I had in mind!)It didn't take long to realize that
what I needed was a Easy Cart type program. To the rescue came Michael,
Dan & Steve . . . the Easy Cart "A" Team.
Easy Cart proved to be the answer. Thankfully, I was able to blend together my old site and the Easy Cart. I say "thankfully" because it involved far less work then I had anticipated.
When I needed to "talk to someone", the staff at Easy Cart was easily accessible. I always knew that if I sent Michael or Dan an e-mail I would get a response the same day.

9/27/99 - I downloaded the easycart demo and tried it for
an hour and thats all it took to decide I wanted easycart. I tried a
free download shopping cart, after learning it for weeks I found out it
wouldn't do what I wanted it to do.Then I bought an expensive shopping
cart and after a month of learning it I found out from the company that
there was a bug in the program, then I bought into a web host business
that included a shopping cart but it was hopelessly complicated and
there was almost no support from this web host company.
I needed a shopping cart that would help me sell my custom leather
steering wheel covers and I found easycart just in time because I was
becoming very discouraged. All my email was answered and all the
support I needed was there along with helpful suggestions.

9/23/99 - Puzzles, Games and Easy Cart . The creation of a great web site is a dubious task. A year ago, when we started this venture, we were limited by a lack of funds, man-power and time. Determined to be well-informed, we attended free Internet seminars, studied articles and books, and spent endless hours searching the web for ideas and information. Eventually, we designed a cool web site with a great on-line catalog and the search for a shopping cart began! There are a lot of carts and systems out there.
I suspect most everyone is looking for reasonable cost, easy setup, efficiency, browser compatibility and security. We wanted one that would also allow us a certain amount of design control (this is harder to find than you might think!). We narrowed the search to about 6 and started testing - Easy Cart was by far the best.
We expected to spend months getting the shopping cart up and running - it took 2 Days. We also discovered another important aspect of a shopping cart - Customer Service. Unless you are an Internet whiz computer programmer, this should be at top of your list! When I call Easy Cart with a question I get a call back the same day!
I am convinced this is the best product out there for us do-it-yourselfers!

Several months ago our company (like many others) started talking about selling products over the internet. We decided to start small and "test the water".
We earmarked about 40 air
compressor parts that we wanted to sell, made digital pictures of each
part, and then approached our Web Hosting company to give a price for
setting up a simple, secure shopping
cart site.
About a week later we
received a quote in excess of $12,000. Afterwards I decided to research
other shopping cart solutions. I found products that ranged from
$200-$20,000. Later I saw an advertisement for EasyCart

7/26/99 - I had spent alot of time putting up a secure
java catalog. It looked wonderful. Then I started getting email from
potential customers telling me that they could not use my catalog. It
either would not load on their
computors or caused their computors to crash. I spent more time trying
to find out why this program which should run on even IE3 was causing
so much trouble. The trouble was alot of people cannot use a java
program...I lost alot of sales.
I am very busy running my business and growing the flowers I sell. I am not acomputor programmer and to do a cgi form type shop cart was way too time consuming to learn or to implement. After surfing the web for many weeks and comparing products, I found Easy Cart. It is very easy to use. The people who sell it are very consumer supportive. I just fill out the little boxes, upload a picture and voila, my catalog is up and running plus orders are put through on a secure site. 6/14/99 - Please send me my 3rd EasyCart! This one is for
an associate who wants to get in on the Internet business. Our sales
are still moving up and EasyCart is one good reason why.
As you may recall, we were doing quite well before we installed our first EasyCart. At one point we went 'sophisticated' and lost sales. Since then we are simplifying and sales continue to go up. (In many cases our products exist only in the shopping cart - I can create a new catalog and enter 10 products in 'no time'.) Of course we try to make it look nice but our customers tell us all the time how much they like the speed and simplicity of EasyCart.
Another tip to your prospects... We customized our cart so that our customers must enter a didstributor ID so we can reference who refered them...It works perfect and is so simple.
We also have a 'fax in' form on our site. Less than one percent of our customers use it. All the others use the shopping cart. That should be a pretty good indication of the direction the Interent is going.

5/19/99 -A BIG "4" stars to Mike and his crew! After
searching for several months for a workable shopping cart, a friend
recommended that I look into Easy Cart. I was disappointed in the
programs I had looked at, either because of price or functions, nothing
seemed to fit what I was looking for. Having become "gun-shy" regarding
shopping carts, I printed out all the information, poured over all the
questions, answers, and instructions for the Easy Cart Program. Then I
called and talked to Mike for a long time. I had been pretty skeptical,
but after using the Easy Cart trial catalog, decided to give it a try.
I had been using another
program and secure server, however after working with the trial
catalog, canceled my other program and secure server and put Easy Cart
to work. There is so much to like about Easy Cart it's really hard not
to write a book. I would like to point out the major features that has
worked well for me:

* flexible and thorough, easy to build catalog and products pages, changes/edits/ additions/deletions are a snap.
* built in catalog search engine
* consumer friendly; easy
to select/delete products, easy to move around within the catalogs, a
follow-up after order placement with a verification, and better yet,
gets the order data back to me. The customer feels comfortable ordering
with the secure server in place.
* complete sales, product and customer reporting, VERY important to me
* great shipping options selection. Hard to do in my business because
of the diversified products in the plumbing , sprinkler and landscaping
product lines
* a seamless transition between my host site in Arizona, and Easy Cart in Colorado
I could go on, but the bottom line is, Easy Cart is a cost effective, efficient way for small/medium business' to enter e-commerce. With a flexible, professional, functional system, I would consider this to be a wise and "must have" investment for any business person working on the internet.

4/1/99 - Having been on the net for over 2 years and recognizing the growth of e-commerce and internet shopping, we needed a newer shopping cart program that was customizable, would calculate shipping charges based on several factors and was easy to use and updated both text and graphics easily as our product line grew.
After shopping and
'demoing' several other shopping cart programs, we found EasyCart the
leader. No monthly fees, outstanding customer support (they even called
us back on a Sunday when we needed help in the beginning) and easy to

3/10/99- Although we have only had our EasyCart up for a little over a week we have enjoyed a dramatic increase in sales! We had been doing very well previously, which makes this even more exciting. Something you may want to pass along to other EasyCart purchasers is that we have experimented over the past few months and have found that the faster our site loads the more sales we get.
At one point we considered that we had 'improved' our site to quite a high level of sophistication. Then we noticed that sales were down. That is when we started experimenting and found that we actually increased sales when we used fewer images. Of course there is a limit to how steamlined we might be able to get but our experience has us convinced.
Thanks again for EasyCart. It is everything you said it was.

3/5/99- If you go to our site you will see the notice "Thank you for choosing ONLINETIRE. the internets easiest way to buy tires!" The reason we say that is because we have had several customers tells us that they have used other shopping carts and found them so slow and frustrating that they left those sites and came to ours! They find the experience fast and efficient.
Not only do our customers like it but it has opened whole new markets for us. Purchasing an EasyCart was one of the best decisions we have made. I am expecting to set one up for my uncle, it will only take a short while to show him how to use it. Thank you EasyCart.

2/22/99 - We recently purchased our second EasyCart,
which is used for secure shopping on our newest web site. Our first
EasyCart, which we have been using for over a year now, has been
trouble free and a joy to build and update.
We have found that our second EasyCart is just as satisfying. We researched many internet shopping carts for several months, before purchasing our first EasyCart. We feel it was the right decision. When we decided to buy another cart, we knew where to look, EasyCart. We didn't have to do more research.
Our competitors are still using outdated carts, that are hard for customers to navigate and load very slowly. We use interlaced gifs and jpegs on both of our EasyCarts, for fast picture loading. We feel EasyCart puts us steps above the competition.
EasyCart has accounted for twice as many web sales in 1998, and we anticipate our newest EasyCart to triple our web sales in 1999.
We especially like the html features of EasyCart. It has allowed us to customize our carts, again which is something our competitors just can't do with there expensive, over-rated shopping carts.
We would recommend EasyCart to anyone, and we do. If you are looking for the perfect solution to e-commerce, you've come to the right place!

2/8/99 - I got my EasyCart and went right to work! No Problems.
1/26/99 - I am a content webmaster and have two clients who use EasyCart. I did a great amount of research on shopping carts, and found EasyCart offered a clean look which can be formatted to compliment my clients web site appearance. It is a very affordable avenue for getting e-commerce capable... without having your ISP do additional programming to set up software on their server.
One of my clients accepts credit cards, the other is strictly COD and pre-paid check. Both seem to work with little problems.
